We're having a baby! We went to our 11 week (actually 10 weeks and 6 days) appointment today and heard the heartbeat on the doppler. Dr. Apgar found the heartbeat in less than a minute. However, I asked Dr. Apgar to do a sonogram so we could actually see the baby. Apparently my powers of persuasion worked! While we were having the sonogram, the baby actually rolled over and started waving its arms at us. It was really cool...kinda looked like it was dancing. It happened so fast, we didn't get a picture of it. We will definitely take our video camera to our next appointment on May 8th.

This picture is from a bird's eye view (sort of). It is a little clearer than the first one. The head is still a little alien shaped, but it is still amazing to be able to see so much detail!

It is amazing how much the baby has grown in just 4 weeks! The heartbeat has also changed. It is hard to tell, but the head is toward the bottom right and the body and leg buds are shooting up to the top left. If you look closely, you can see the little arm buds on each side.

This is the little macaroni picture from the sonogram on 6 weeks and 6 days. It may look small, but it was the coolest thing in the world for us. You can also see the heartbeat at the bottom of the picture.

More of a rice shape taken 4 weeks ago. (6 weeks and 6 days).
