A few favorites...

I have a few new favorite shots of my Bella girl.
No real theme, just some cute pics.

"Look Mom...one hand!"
Bella is getting a little too brave with her standing skills at
Aunt Alison's house after our last GP Stroller Brigade.

Bella loves her Uncle Jimmy! I think she gets confused and thinks it is Daddy sometimes because she gets really excited every time she sees Jimmy!

Looking cute in her Scorpio onesie from Aunt Tali
and giraffe slippers from Claire!

So this isn't the best picture, but I just love how cute Bella and Noa
were together at our Back to School Potluck. :)

Ocean City Vacation

We had an awesome time in Ocean City with my family last week. We are so lucky to be able to have this vacation every year thanks to my Gigi. We always have a great time, but this year was even more fun for us because of Bella.
These pictures are all out of order because I am too lazy to move them all around to be in order...sorry! They are still great pictures though.

Bella got her first two teeth in right before we went to the beach. It was fun for my family to see them come in a little more everyday while we were in Ocean City. Here is a good shot of her two bottom teeth.
Investigating the sand...somehow we were able to keep her from eating it!

Our family loves to do puzzles and this one was a challenge!
2000 pieces and we were finished by Tuesday!

My aunt, my sister, and Bella
Check out Bella's onesie. Very appropriate for this picture.

Woo hoo!! Bella loves to ride on her little car toy.

Bella and Nena on the beach by the jetty where John proposed to me. We also took family pictures on the jetty, but the sun was in our eyes and we are squinting in all of them. Oh well, better luck next year.

My sleeping beach babe.
She slept so soundly on the beach with the sound of the waves crashing around her.

Bella and Mommy LOVE the beach!

"I can't believe they are letting me play with this thing!"

Our family's feet in the sand. I love how little Bella's feet look next to ours.

Having a great time in the pool with Daddy.

Bella is such a little "cheeser." As soon as she hears my camera turn on, she looks at me and smiles or makes some other cute face.

Family picture on the dunes

Group shot on the dunes.

A cute video of Bella's reaction to Puffs.
She loves them now but wasn't so sure about them at first.

9 months old!

Bella turned 9 months old today! She is actually 39 weeks old exactly. I thought that was interesting since she was born at exactly 39 weeks. Anyway, we went to the doctor today for her 9 month check up and it went very well. Bella weighed in at 22 pounds and 4 ounces (93rd percentile). She is 30 inches long (97th percentile). The other exciting news we got at the doctor was that her second tooth popped through today. We knew that the first one came through on Wednesday, but we didn't even know the second one had come through. We are very happy about this because we were starting to think she might need baby dentures! So here are a few pics of our 9 month girl!

Good morning, Mommy! Bella said "mama" for the first time last night and then said it again when I saw her this morning. Here she is standing in her nursery with her cute panda (although you can't really see the panda) jammies from Nena.

Bella loves to stand and walk around all of the time. She thinks she can do it on her own, but she needs our help. Sometimes she will stand on her own for a few seconds, but never much longer than that. She has taken a few steps while holding on to the table, her crib, or her little walker toy.

Although she can't stand on her own for long, she has learned to kneel on her own pretty well. If there is something nearby to pull herself up on, she goes for it. But otherwise, she likes to kneel. I guess it makes her happy to be a little be higher up! :)

Getting ready to pull herself up using the Pooh box that my friend, Debi, gave her. She is also wearing the adorable dress that her Auntie Tina gave her. It is an 18 month size dress. It amazes me how fast she is growing!

Bella and Mommy! We were so happy in this picture because it was the first day a bow stayed in her hair. She finally has just enough hair to keep the clip in!

Here, There, and Everywhere

We have had such a great summer so far! It has been so great, that I haven't had time to post pictures. So this post has a little bit of everything. I think this post wins the award for the longest and most random set of pics and videos. Oh well, better late than never!
Bella turned 8 months old on July 7th. She weighed 21.5 pounds and was 29 inches long when I took her to the doctor last. She doesn't have any teeth yet, but is finally getting a little bit of hair!

Bella also figured out how to crawl. The floor in my classroom is a little slippery, but she managed to do just fine.

Not the best shot of her "downward dog" yoga position, but I had a request.
This one is for you, Alison!
There is a better video of her yoga skills toward the end of this blog post.

She loves the "b" for "Bella" hat that Nena got in Ohio. She keeps it on for hours!

Bella loves to stand up and play with her "Learn and Groove" table all by herself now.

She also likes to stand up and play with her jumper.
A bit unconventional, but hey, she likes it!

A little on the long side, but I love the end when she is calling "dada" and how big she smiles when he comes to her call!

Thanks Aunt Tam for the new toy! Bella is on the move!

We went to the Baltimore Zoo with Aunt Tam, Uncle Todd, and Jake. Bella was excited that Jake wanted to give her a hug!

They sat so nicely for this picture on the turtle!

Okay, when does this ride start? I am holding on tightly, Uncle Todd!

Wow, I didn't know polar bears could swim...cool!

We are so lucky to have so many great friends to walk with on Wednesdays. We sure do know how to make some cute babies at GPES!

Avery and Bella went to Outback for dinner together.
Oh and they brought the 'rents along for driving purposes only!

Very proud of herself for standing up in her crib after her nap

When she first started crawling, she wanted to stand up. Since she couldn't stand, she got into a "downward dog" yoga position and seemed to like it. Future yoga instructor?

I guess I will just play with this bib until Hank's swim team practice is over.

Now I can just sit and smile at Hank!

Bella crawled right up to me as I was trying to take her picture.
I guess she felt it was time for a "close-up."

She is definitely on the move and gets what she wants!
In this case, she was after her Pooh box from Debi!

She loves to stand and hold onto anything that is sturdy enough.
