Jake and Bella

Bella, John, and I went to visit the Duvall family yesterday. We had a great time! Our godson, Jake, is one smart cookie. He knows all of his animals and what they say. He decided to teach Bella a few animals.

Jake was reading his "Jesus Loves Me" book to Bella. She was very interested!

The Pool!

The Garrett Park Pool opened today, so Bella, Nena, and I went for her first swim! She LOVED the pool even though it was absolutely freezing!

Okay, I am all ready...can I get in now?

Hiccups and Thumbs Up

Hiccups never looked so cute! I was trying to get a cute video of Bella sitting up like a big girl, but it turned into a cute video of hiccups with a "kaboom" at the end!

Stats, Carrots, and PJ's

This post has a little bit of everything! Enjoy!

Bella had her 6 month check up on Monday and all is well. She is 18.5 pounds and 27.5 inches long. We had some time to kill while waiting for the pediatrician, so I took some pictures of the big girl sitting up on the exam table.

I have a new obsession...big girl summer PJ's! I just can't get over how cute they are on Bella. My mom and I must have purchased 10 different sets at Target. In our defense, they don't seem to make 12 month size PJ's with feet, so we HAD to buy these! :)

Mother's Day!

I had my first official Mother's Day yesterday and it was wonderful! I got to spend it with my husband, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Here are a few pictures of the day!

My first ever Mother's Day gift. Bella "made" this gift for me with Patty (my friend that watches her while I am at work). It is her actual handprint in the tulip with a beautiful poem underneath.

John and Bella made me a breakfast of champions! It is a sugar crisp with whipped cream, fresh strawberries and raspberries, and a chocolate covered cherry in the middle! My husband knows what I like! Bella looks like she is happy to give it to me as well.

My mom is a huge Beatles fan, so I got this Beatles onesie for Bella to wear as a Mother's Day gift for my mom. She loved it!

6 months old!

Bella turned 6 months old yesterday. I took the day off from work to spend the day with my baby girl. We had a great day! She will go to the pediatrician on Monday afternoon, so I will post her latest stats at that time.

First thing in the morning in her sleep sack. I can't believe how long she is!

Bella rolled over on her changing table before I could even get her outfit on. Although it scares me when she does this, I have to admit that she is pretty cute!

Tummy time is fun on Mommy and Daddy's bed...so much space to move around!

Bella got to see her friend, Noa, at Sarah's (my teammate) baby shower. They were so cute together and just kept checking each other out. So many people think they look alike...you be the judge.

We decided to give Bella her first taste of applesauce. Her reaction was hilarious! She had it again today and seems to like it much more.

Spring Fair

We went to the Garrett Park Spring Fair today and had a blast! Nena came to help us out since I was doing the cake walk. We also met up with Tammy, Todd, and Jake. Bella's friends Avery and Noa came too, but Bella was asleep when they came, so no pics of the three girls together. :(
