Spring Break...so far!

Spring Break is here! We headed down to our favorite place...Ocean City! We also went to the Playseum in Bethesda to make the best of a rainy day. When it cleared up, Bella took her new Cozy Coupe on the open road (well, the sidewalk!). We also dyed Easter Eggs with Nena, Auntie Ish (aka "Za"), and Christian. Today we went to Stroller Strides and played in the playarea when class was over. It has been an action packed Spring Break and it is only halfway done! Tomorrow we are headed to Bunnyland...pics to come!

Bella used her very own suitcase on our trip to Ocean City!

Bella's new obsession is taking things out of containers, putting them back in, and taking them out again. She played with these blocks down in Ocean City whenever she could.
John and I were laughing so hard at Bella's reaction to lemons at Dumser's Dairyland in Ocean City! Enjoy!

We attempted to go miniature golfing...it didn't work out so well!

We went to the Playseum in Bethesda (yes, I went to Bethesda!) and we had a lot of fun watching Bella explore. She found mini apples to take out and put back in again.

Her favorite thing at the Playseum was this baby swing. I was so worried that she would break it. She went back to it several times!

Happy to be home!

I love my new Cozy Coupe!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Since I am half Irish, I guess that makes Bella about 1/4 Irish! We had a great St. Patty's Day and got to take pics with some of Bella's favorite people...the Hickey children! We also got to spend time with Nena, Auntie Ish, and Grandpa! :)

Sporting her Old Navy Irish shirt...I had to crop myself out because I look exhausted in the picture!

My favorite shot of the day!
Ryan, Katie, Bella, Maggie, and Kelsey
I love them all!

Bella LOVED the Irish boa that Maggie was wearing!

Patty bought Bella some bubbles and she walked all around with them. She doesn't know how to blow them yet, but she certainly knows how to eat them!

16 Months Old!

We can't believe that Bella is already 16 months old! Time just flies by! Here are some pictures of our big girl!

Bella loves watching Dora on TV!

She also loves kicking her Dora ball from Nena.
Who could ever get mad at that face?

The light of my life!

Bella really gets into Dora and here's the proof. My favorite part is when she starts nodding along with what Dora is saying. It cracks me up!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We celebrated Bella's 2nd Valentine's Day today. She had a great day! Although John and I weren't able to celebrate as a couple, we had a wonderful time celebrating with our baby girl. We hope my Gigi will get better soon...love you Gigi!

Bella in her big girl Valentine's Day jammies...I think she likes them!

I made blueberry pancakes in the shape of "I love you" for Bella's Valentine's Day breakfast. John got some too, but I didn't take a picture of him eating them. :)

Enjoying her special breakfast!

This girl loves books!

Reading again! I like this picture because you can see the curls in her hair.

Bella's reaction to the hilarious, singing, Valentine's Day dog I bought her. This went on pretty much all morning long!

Blizzards of 2010

As most people know, we have had a TON of snow in our area this winter. Fortunately, John and I have both been off and it has been so much fun. Here are some pictures of our fun in the snow!

Bella and Mommy in the January 30th snow storm.

Bella standing next to a huge pile of snow after the first blizzard, February 6th.

My rosy cheek girl after playing in the snow.
If you look closely, you can see Bella's name in the snow.
Hi, Mommy! I love this snow!
Sitting on top of a big pile of snow with our shovel after the 2nd blizzard.
Our deck and backyard after both blizzards...so much snow!
I finally had time to sit down and record Bella doing all of her "tricks." All of this snow has been great for me to catch up on things I have been wanting to do.

Weekend Fun!

Last weekend, Bella really started to walk efficiently. John and I both had off for MLK day, so we had a full 3 days to spend with our girl. Then, we spent this weekend with family. We went to Outback with my mom on Saturday and then celebrated my mom's birthday with my sister on Sunday. We saw "It's Complicated" and then got California Chicken Salads from J. Chow's. I love that salad! The past two weekends were a blast...enjoy our photos and videos!

My newest favorite picture of me and Bella...Girls Rock!

Bella and I went to the park on MLK day and she went down the slide by herself for the first time. She also got to practice her walking skills on the mulch.

I Love Outback! Bella ordered her first ever Kids Menu meal from Outback. She had Grilled Chicken on the Barbie and a mashed potato. She also loved the yummy Outback bread.
Good shot of her teeth and her beautiful hat!

Watching Wonder Pets with Nena and loving it!

Bella got a hold of the shampoo bottle and proceeded to tell her life story to the bottle. She must have talked to that bottle for a full 5 minutes. Don't worry...I edited it down to less than one minute for your viewing pleasure.

Christmas 2.0

Since we weren't able to celebrate Christmas with our extended family earlier, we did it all this weekend. First, my grandparents came down from Pennsylvania on Saturday. These are my dad's parents. My mom, sister, and Christian also came over. Unfortunately, John has been very sick, so he had to stay in our bedroom the entire time! Then, on Sunday, my mom's side of the family came over. My Gigi, Aunt, Uncle Gene, Mom, Ashley, and Christian were all here. It was wonderful to see everyone, but it was a very busy weekend. John is finally starting to feel a little better, but he is definitely headed to the doctor's office tomorrow morning!
Of course you have to take family pictures when you have all of this family in town...enjoy!

Bella with her great grandparents (my dad's parents)
Bella loved all of the gifts from her great grandparents and Aunt Meg, Uncle Brian, Jacob, and Kyra! Her favorite was the "choo choo loop." It is awesome!

Four Generations! My mom, Gigi, me, and Bella :)

Sisters!

All the ladies!

We were all so happy to have Gigi with us today! Bella was especially happy to play "pat-a-cake" with her!
